In 1996, implantologist Dr. Wolfgang Dinkelacker began development of an innovative implant system at his surgery.
He launched in-depth research, driven by the desire to optimised aesthetics and biocompatibility in patient care and fitting and to offer a userfriendly implant system. The production and development location of Sindelfingen near Stuttgart, Germany, turned out to be an absolute high-tech site advantage. The proximity to research and industry allowed cooperation in an effective network consisting of universities, research facilities and both the automobile and semiconductor industries. The innovative Implant System, protected by numerous national and international patents, was launched successfully onto the dental market in 2003.
